  • Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW)

    Led by Black Mamas Matter Alliance, BMHW is held from April 11th to 17th. The campaign is designed to bring awareness to issues that impact Black birthing people and to amplify their voices.

  • Black Maternal Mental Health Week (BMMHW)

    07.20.25

    Founded by the Shades of Blue Project, BMMHW is held from July 19th to 25th. The campaign was created to amplify Black voices and advocate for culturally responsive mental health care.

  • Black Breastfeeding Week (BBW)

    08.31.25

    Created by Kimberly Seals Allers, Kiddada Green, and Anayah Sangodele-Ayoka, BBW celebrates Black families and raises awareness about breastfeeding disparities. It takes place August 25th - 31st.
